Roxanna Collingwood

 

With a BFA in Acting & Directing and minor studies in Music from SHSU, Roxy has always had a great love and passion for the theatre and music. She teaches Voice and Acting Lessons at her recording studio in Hot Springs and at the Roosevelt Auditorium in Mt. Ida. She has performed at The Pocket as Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd and Rosalind in Moon Over Buffalo. Other credits include: Aldonza in Man of La Mancha, Celtic Spring & Broadway Show with The Muses, Anabella/Pamela/Margaret in The 39 Steps with The Town Cryers Acting Troupe, Maria in The Sound of Music and Yente the Matchmaker in Fiddler on the Roof at The Roosevelt Theatre, Katie in an original Arkansas Musical The Cigar Box Men with Fun City Chorus and Top of the Rock Chorus, Sunny in The Toys Take Over Christmas in Houston, TX at Stages Repertory Theatre, Mary Warren in The Crucible at The Owen Theatre in Conroe, TX, and Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Nights Dream & Twelfth Night with Ron Song Destro’s Acting Troupe in London, UK. Roxy is eternally grateful to God, her loving fiancé, Trey, and family for their constant love and support.

Tim Heron Jr.

Tim Heron joined the Pocket in the summer of 2016 joining the cast of Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Since then he has been apart of 10 productions at the Pocket Theatre. He is very happy to be a member of this community/family. 

Steven L Mitchell

Steven is a retired training manager with AT&T who has been an actor and a musician throughout his life.  His love for music and theater continues to be a motivation in his life.He holds a degree in Music Education from Arkansas Tech University.  His major was choral conducting/voice and piano.  He has had the opportunities to be seen in leading roles, secondary roles and ensemble.  Whatever the part, he loves it.

Steven has performed in many stage plays and musicals.  Among these are:  Our Town, My Three Angles, Arsenic and Old Lace, Man of LaMancha, L’il Abner, Gypsy, You Can’t Take It With You, Night Must Fall, All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten, Bad Auditions By Bad Actors, Little Shop of Horrors and Annie.

Steven has performed with the Dallas Opera, the Ft Worth Opera and the Dallas Symphony.  He is a founding and life member of the popular men’s chorus The Turtle Creek Chorale.

He spends his time in retirement volunteering for The Caring Place, singing with the Hot Springs Music Festival chorus, reading and performing.  He is proud to be an actor with the Pocket Community Theatre.

 

Garrett Brenneman

Garrett  is an Actor, Director, Writer, and Model who has been doing his thing since he was a month old and played baby Jesus. Since then he has been in over 25 stage productions. His favorite include  Charles Condomine in Blithe Spirit,  Justin in Christmas Belles, and Howard in Moon Over Buffalo. He has also graced the big and small screen in over 50 feature films, short films, commercials, and music videos such as God's Not Dead A Light In Darkness, Antiquities, and Urban Legend.  He has also directed a small handful of theater productions as well as walked the runway for Boots & Bowties LR. He has also co-written the script for the short film If Only with Actress Dene'a Hardin. And he is an alumnus of Excell Models and Talent in Little Rock. His big dream is to one day have his own movie studio here in Arkansas. 

Christi Cranton

 

Christi has had a passion for the theater since a very young age. She went to college on a music and theater scholarship at Northeastern State University. While graduating with a degree in Speech Pathology, Christi has never let her passion for theater die. She has played Kim McAfee in Bye, Bye Birdie, Sister Sarah in Guys and Dolls, Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes. At The Pocket Theatre you may have seen her as Gus in Cooking With Gus, Johanna in Sweeney Todd, Charlotte in Moon Over Buffalo, Melissa Gardner in Love Letters or most recently, Cecily in Love From A Stranger. Christi has a love for musical theater and a few of her most favorite roles has been Ado Annie in Oklahoma,  Christine in Phantom of the Opera and Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde. Christi is so incredibly thankful for her fiance Kevin and her family for being so supportive of her dreams and passion for performing.
