| Twelve Dancing Princeses |
by Phillis McCallum

Directed by Marti McWilliams and Sara Burns

Synopsis
From Pioneer Drama Service:
Where do the twelve dancing princesses disappear to each night? And how do they wear out their
dancing slippers by morning? The king tries in vain to find out; ten princes try and fail. Finally,
a young soldier (with the aid of a magic cloak which makes him invisible) follows the princesses to
a mysterious underground kingdom where they dance the night away under a hypnotic spell. It's all
part of a plot by the evil prime minister to take over the kingdom by keeping the princesses forever
in his underground realm. But the young soldier exposes the plot and, as his reward, wins the
loveliest princess of all for his bride.
